NPR's Tiny Desk Concert sees artist come into their studio for contained intimate performances and Sampha is the latest artist to step up for it.
Sampha's voice is one of the most texturally flawless in music right now so you could strip his music back to nothing and it would sound phenominal. This is proof of that.
He performed (No One Knows Me) Like The Piano, Blood On Me and Plastic 100 Degrees all from his debut album Process, stripping them back to just a piano.
All of the tracks are good but we challenge you to get through Like The Piano without getting a little bit emotional.
Sampha will perform at the Opera House as part of VIVID Live this year. Tickets are sold out.
