Well, this is something good that's come out of the US election. One of the many quotable statements to come from Donald Trump during the third presidential debate has actually benefited living legend and mum-to-be Janet Jackson. Following Trump's reference to his opponent Hillary Clinton as a "nasty woman", streams of Jackson's 1986 powerful anthem 'Nasty' spiked on Spotify by 250%.
Who's jamming to that nasty groove?
It's you lot, with streams of Nasty up 250% since last night… #debateshttps://t.co/ir9pohNtID— Spotify (@Spotify) October 20, 2016
This unexpected outcome is particularly poignant considering the subject matter for Jackson's song and the recent sexual harassment allegations which have been directed Trump's way.
Janet Jackson's "Nasty" was written after she had a terrible street harassment experience, by the way.

Jackson was once quoted in a 1993 Rolling Stone interview, “The danger hit home when a couple of guys started stalking me on the street. couple of guys started stalking me on the street. They were emotionally abusive. Sexually threatening. Instead of running to Jimmy or Terry for protection, I took a stand. I backed them down. That's how songs like 'Nasty' and 'What Have You Done for Me Lately were born, out of a sense of self-defense."
