    Future Islands Are Back With Euphoric New Single 'Ran'

    After delivering one of the best songs of this decade with Seasons (Waiting On You), Future Islands are back announcing a new album and dropping a new song.

    The Far Field, the band's fifth album, will be out 7th April and it's being preceded by the hearty new single Ran. 

    Ran is exactly what you'd expect from the band - a big anthemic chorus, moveable basslines and raw vocals. 

    Samuel T Herring has proved himself to be one of the most captivating frontmen around and you can tell that he's got some dancemoves just waiting to be unleashed for this one.

    The record was worked on last year with Grammy winning producer John Congleton and features one guest, Debbie Harry from Blondie.
