While everyone else is listening to her incredibly infectious Gold tune, we wanted to find out what our current musical crush Kiiara has on rotation herself and just when we thought she couldn't get any cooler, she came through via email and programmed us up a smokin'* hot TGIF playlist. There are a few things we've heard in the mix but for the most part she digs deep and leaves us with a heap of new joints* to discover.

*Weed say pardon the pun but you know us better than that by now. On to the music!

Tyler Cordy - Aqua Blue Honda

"No reason to be stressed now, but I bleed.” I really connected w this song from the moment I heard it. Fcking luv tha energy and tone of Tyler’s voice and the lyrics are beautiful. When I find myself wondering “why tha fck didn’t I think of that",  that's when I know a song is fire.

    Mommmmmmmmmma - Money

"Hoodie on in tha club; holy water on my tongue / u say u go to church, but ur hands look muddy”. I remember exactly where I was when I heard this song 4 tha first time. Straight up texted David and was like “wow”. I had no words. this song just really made me think and still does to this day.

    Dev - Parade

"I still luv ‘em ; cuff ‘em like . . ur welcome.” I have this song on repeat. Shower / makeup playlist everyday. It’s like sonic happiness. Thank u 4 this song Dev ily  3

    Marissa - S[he]’s Br[ok]en

"He treat u like all these hoes.” This song just made me realize like wow... SOML 4 sure. Reminds me to stay away from fckboys.

Tep No - Swear Like a Sailor

Tha lyrics say it all. Blunt and vibey af. No other way. I luv it.

    Qui - Resurrection

"Stone cold in a tomb they tell me.” Quin’s vocals and melodies are so mesmerizing. I’ve had this on repeat for months.

    Palmistry - Memory Taffeta

Heard this a couple times when I was in a session with Felix Snow. I would always ask him what the song was and I always forgot by the time went to go listen to it. Finally remembered what it was called and now i’m content. I luv palmistry’s sound.

    Y2K & lil aaron - Damn

“Never going back to my hometown . . DAMN.”  sool (story of our lives)  lil aaron  ;)  lil aaron and Y2K killed this! can’t wait to hear more of their work.

Ro Ransom - See Me Fall (feat. Kensei Abbot)

“So in luv w my squaaaa”  on loop 4 ever. Mad luv.

    Blackbear - Nervous

“People making me nervous.” Blackbear is one of my fav songwriters because his lyrics seem so effortless and natural, like phrases one would say in everyday life aka an endless conversation. Constantly studying his work.

Crazy Town - Baby You Don’t Know (feat. Fann)

"I get lost and it walks me home.”  This song along w the rest of their music keeps me sane. Addicted to their sound and melodies.

    Yelawolf - Johnny Cash

"So nervous my whole body shakes.”  I have nothing but respect for Yelawolf. I luv his work. If I could work with any artist in tha world, he’d be my first choice.

    Skylar Grey - Final Warning

“Going to tha kitchen, coming back w a knife.” Whenever someone asks me who I want to write with I always say Skylar Grey. I find myself able to relate to all of her songs. whether it be the mood alone or the words too.

Eminem - Sing For The Moment

"I guess words are a muthafcka, they can be great." Been listening to Eminem since I was 6 or 7, I remember finding the CD on the DVD player in our living room and when I played it I was instantly intrigued. His tone, rhyming, flow, it all just caught my ears.
