A$AP Rocky's new album is coming "ASAP" according to the rapper himself.
Rocky revealed the GQ Style that he's still aiming to get his third album out this year, echoing what he's already said.
For the first time, however, he's revelead more details about the record and it sounds like it's going to be an experimental project.
"My new album is really about testing new sounds," he said.
"People are scared to test new sounds, so they go with what's current 'cause it's the easy thing to do."
He further said that he's not going to cater to a large demographic on this record like the rest of the Top 100.
"People cater more to that because it's a bigger demographic behind that, or it's a guaranteed demographic behind that," he said.
"I prefer to experiment and have my crowd grow with me and to reach new crowds. I don't just rap—I actually make music. That's why it takes time. These sonics represent me."
About a month back, a clip surfaced of a song that was allegedly produced by Tame Impala's Kevin Parker which would make sense given that he's planning to branch out into other genres on this record.
Someone tell Rocky that 2018 is coming to an end and he's running out of time.
