    If you've ever wanted to become an EDM star, then you're in luck - it seems like it only takes a minute, at least according to one Swedish superstar.

    Alesso has taken to Twitter to demonstrate how to build an EDM hit, and it doesn't seem that difficult. There's only six simple steps you need to follow, and you'll be playing mainstages in no time (not guaranteed).

    Alesso broke it down for everyone: "find some chords, make a nasty bassline, play a melody with a lot of delay, add too many layers of the same melody, make your own kickdrum, find a friend who can easily write a topline in 2 minutes" and "voila!"
