Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals are in the country for Laneway Festival and they're spilling some secrets along the way.
The Free Nationals are set to release their debut album while .Paak is going to drop the follow-up to 2016's Malibu.
The band let triple j in on some exclusive info about the debut album saying it's coming in the, "next couple of months."
"Before [June/July]. We’re putting the finishing touches on it right now.”
They further disclosed who would be featuring on the album revealing that there are some frequent and new collaborators on board.
“This will literally be the first [time], we’ve never told anybody about the features," they said, expanding that Daniel Caesar, Mac Miller, Kali Uchis will be on there plus potentially T.I. and Unknown Mortal Orchestra.
.Paak also revealed that he's got a solo album coming too that Dr. Dre is heavily involved in.
"Just going through the mixing phase. I won’t say any dates but you can definitely expect it this year, sometime," he said.
It's going to be a huge year for .Paak.
