Bazzi was in town recently for a bit of promo and a Nova Red Room performance, so we nabbed him for a hot minute to see what his favourite records are.
Drawing influences from soul, pop and rap, it's no surprise that between loving old school hip hop artists like Notorious B.I.G. and Dr Dre, Bazzi pulled out records by Prince and "fearless" Bowie too in this episode of Diggin' In The Crates.
He also flexes his production knowledge in this episode, explaining how he loves Dre's simple but tasteful beats and why that's influenced his own production style, as well why he loves how Bruno Mars managed to cohesively bring older influences into contemporary music.
