Bloc Party are just about to wrap up their Silent Alarm tour and they're already looking to the next.
The British band played their 2005 debut in full around the world, bringing the tour to Australia late last year. Now frontman Kele Okereke has said he's down to tour their second album A Weekend In The City.
Okereke said he “wouldn’t say no” to performing the album in full on tour.
“It’s funny, I was talking to a journalist that interviewed me around the time that ‘A Weekend in the City’ came out," he told NME.
“It was interesting speaking to him a few days ago because a lot of the themes from that record have come full circle and are very much apparent in public discourse right now. That record feels, to me, very prescient."
He continued on to say that he is, "definitely open to it.”
This year, that record turns 13. Maybe we can lock in a tour for its 15th anniversary?
