Brockhampton are currently in London with an extra tight timeline to complete their fourth album.
The hip-hop group announced Iridescence last month and said it would be out this month but it turns out they hadn't even started it.
"We're making it right now at Abbey Road," Kevin Abstract told Radio 1's Annie Mac when pressed about the record.
"We started from scratch and was like, 'Let's make an album in 10 days and put it out next month.'"
The album is "louder" and unlike anything the group has released before by the sounds of it.
"We kept making music before this album and it all kind of felt similar to stuff we’d made before. We wanted to get away and make the album in London instead of Los Angeles," Abstract added.
It's unlikely that the album is going to include any of the music that the group has released this year.
