Afrobeats up-and-comer Burna Boy has already had a huge 2019. He's dropped a huge track with Mahalia, been named as Apple Music's Up Next Artist for July, won Best International Artist at the BET Awards and dropped a surprise EP with DJDS.
Oh, and he smashed his performances at Coachella. NBD.
As part of being this month's Up Next Artist, he'll appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in the US, have an exclusive short film made about him by Apple Music, and have an in-depth interview feature on the Apple Beats 1 radio station.
Now, he's announced that his new album, African Giant will be out July 26th via Atlantic Records - which is perfect timing to get over the winter hump.
The album is the follow-up to 2018's Outside, and is Burna's fourth studio album.
It'll feature already released singles Anybody, On The Low, Gbona and Dangote, and is available for pre-order here.
His interview on Beats 1 featured chat about the album, where Burna said, “I feel like the album is giving you a part of me at a time in my life.” You can watch that interview, hosted by Julie Adenuga, below.
