Cardi B has just been cast as the lead in a movie for the first time, having previously appeared in Hustlers.
She's set to play Amber in the upcoming comedy Assisted Living, and it sounds like her character is up to no good.
Reported by Variety, Cardi will be playing Amber, "a small-time crook who finds herself in over her head when a heist goes wrong. On the run from the cops and her former crew, she struggles to find anywhere to hide.
"Running out of options, Amber disguises herself as an elderly woman and hides out in the one place no one will look — her estranged grandmother’s nursing home. The script was written by Kay Oyegun, with Temple Hill and Stephen Love producing the Paramount film.
