    Typically on your birthday, you get gifts from other people. However, Charli XCX has decided to flip that on its head by giving her fans a birthday gift in the form of a new song.

    To celebrate her birthday, she announced that her new track, Good Ones, will be arriving on September 2nd. It's the first taste of new music since her 2020 quarantine album how i'm feeling now, and we couldn't be more excited.

    Tweeting about the track, Charli wrote, "my new song ???? ???? arrives on September 2nd. get ready to surrender ? pre save now. happy birthday to me ?⚰️?." The track has some 80s-themed artwork, so colour us intrigued.

    Fans were more than happy to celebrate Charli's birthday, and we're loving that this is how she's celebrating. Name another musician this generous - we'll wait.
