So the very first Expo Liaison is coming up and we know it's gonna be all about the '80s excess, because it's Client Liaison - what else would you expect?
With Aussie legend John Farnham, Alice Ivy, KON, Rainbow Chan, Luke Million feat. KLP and more joining the band on the shows, we know we're gonna have to rock up wearing a cool fit. And Client Liaison themselves dropped their own line at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week this year... here are our favourite looks from it.
Ain't nothin' more versatile than a good striped shirt. We love the oversized on this one - perfect for a French tuck into your jeans, a la Tan from Queer Eye.
Black on black shirts aren't on the market enough, in our humble opinion. This tee is basically the clothing equivalent to a sleek matte black car. Chuck on some faded blue jeans with some fresh, sparkling white sneakers and you'll be golden.
One for the ladies - we're digging how simple this is, and how it still manages to be cropped while being oversized. Chuck it on with high-waisted pants and a pair of chunky heels or keep it low-key with some Converse high-tops. And like most everything in Client Liaison Deluxe Line, it's got a subtle homage to Australian flora with the small embroidered wattle.
It's not quiiiite warm enough to get our pins out, but until dresses and shorts are back in season, we think this jumpsuit will do just fine. We're loving the frilly lizards, boomerangs and champagne glasses scattered all over this!
And if you wanna match with your mate wearing the jumpsuit... the same pattern is available on a men's button-up shirt too. Check out the platypus and sparkler right on the front! Aussie as.
The neckline on his jumper looks so snuggly, we feel like we'd wear it for Expo Liaison and just keep it on for another two weeks afterwards. Plus, the blue, yellow and white colour scheme kind of reminds us of the ocean.
Expo Liaison hits Melbourne on 18 August, Sydney on 25 August and Brisbane on 26 August.
