    Damon Albarn Is Currently Working On Finishing 40-45 Songs That Didn't Make The Gorillaz Album

    Gorillaz haven't even dropped their new album Humanz yet but already their fearless leader Damon Albarn is working on more music.

    He's revealed to Zane Lowe over at Beats 1 that he has 40-45 that didn't make the cut for the record and he's still working on them.

    "I’m just sort of slowly going through all tunes that sort of didn’t work out and finishing them," he said, revealing that he's currently working on a Little Simz collaboration that is really "exciting."

    He reckons that he's got at least another 18 months in him of working on Gorillaz material before he inevtiably grows tired of it. 

    No word on how he plans to release this music but let's sink our teeth into Humanz first and then worry about new music.

    The record is out 28th April.
