    Cut Copy have remixed a Death Cab For Cutie track as part of the new Keys and Codes Remix EP. Beginning this week, the band will reveal one new remix from the EP every week leading up to release on Friday November 25th.

    Dan Whitford of Cut Copy on their remix - “Death Cab for Cutie are a band that I’ve followed for many years and was a real honour to remix them, particularly on an original track that I really like. I’d thought for a while that Ben Gibbard’s voice could transpose brilliantly on a dance track (almost like the sound of Neil Tennant from Pet Shop Boys), and that was pretty much my mission statement for this remix. Although I love the original song, I didn’t try to follow it with the remix, I just wanted to recontextualize his voice, and I think in the end it came up really well”
