Obviously being in isolation through the coronavirus pandemic has thrown a spanner in the works for much of our regularly programmed content, particularly the video content pieces we need to film out in the wild. Diggin' In The Crates is one of those casualties; with international artist travel halted, social distancing regulations in place and many small record stores closed, it's been hard to find a way to continue this series as it was, shooting in cosy little record stores while our favourite bands and artists tour Australia.
Fortunately, guitarist Jack Barakat of pop punk veterans All Time Low was kind enough to invite us into his home for our very first episode of Diggin' In My Crates - a small twist in our regular series, where artists show us their records from home, rather than a record store. Jack's been self-isolating like much of America - like All Time Low singer Alex Gaskarth who also spoke to us from his Baltimore home - and can't wait to get back to our corner of the world for a tour.
It's an awesome peek at the records Jack holds dear; from Amy Winehouse to Van Morrison to Nirvana, we get a quick look into Jack's home as well as his vinyl corner.
