Diggin' In The Crates with Avalanche City

Avalanche City burst onto the scene a few years back thanks to the all kinds of catchy (not too mention a music synchronisation person's wet dream) single - Love Love Love. Now NZ multi-instrumentalist and all-around nice guy Dave Baxter is back up in the spot with another ear worm - Inside Out (see below) along with a brand new full length record - We Are for the Wild Places.

While he was in Sydney recently for a run of shows, we took Dave along to Mojo Record Bar and let him loose in the racks to find and run us through some of his fave records of the last little bit... *ed's note* we actually need to do a follow up piece ASAP, as it turns out Dave cut his musical teeth on all things hardcore (!!! we know right?!) and the racks, although filled to the brim with classic rock, blues and pop business were lacking the Norma Jeans, In Flames, Poison The Wells of the world...

He did manage to pull out a few gems, including Rage Against The Machine's incredible self titled debut and to see the other selections... Well, you'll just have to watch the vid below for the full scoop!

Avalanche City's We Are for the Wild Places is available now pretty much anywhere and everywhere good music is sold | streamed.
