Perth artist Dinje is getting ready to share his first release of 2022, and he's starting off the year with a bang. He's cooked up a huge remix of his 2021 single WISH I KNEW, and he's called in Newcastle's Mason Dane to jump on the track. Mason's vocals can be heard on the track's first verse, before Dinje carries the remix home. It's a song that captures the feeling of not knowing whether the person you love loves you back, and we're premiering the track right now!

Music has always been a part of Dinje's life, and since moving to Australia in 2012, he's become a key part of the Perth music scene. He's equally at home working in the hip-hop space as he is when he's leaning more into more melodic pop territory. WISH I KNEW (Remix) brings together hip-hop and pop sounds to result in a track that'll be on your mind for a long time. Dinje and Mason's vocals glide over the MULAK-produced beat, and together, the pair turn that sense of uncertainty that comes when you're not sure if the love you're feeling is reciprocated into an all-too-relatable banger.

Speaking about the track, Dinje explains, “Whether you're at the beginning, middle, or the end of a relationship, we all encounter uncertainty. WISH I KNEW paints a crystal-clear image of the uncertainty of not knowing if they love you back, or is it just you standing all alone on the bridge. It leaves you asking the question, do they feel the same for me as I do for them? Do they think of me? I WISH I KNEW.”

He also gave thanks to Mason for jumping on the remix, saying, “Man! A huge shoutout to Mason Dane for everything he’s doing. I’ve always been a fan and he just happened to be in that pop/hip hop space too. I sent him the record with an open first verse, got back this heater of a record in like 24 hours and I’ve been itching to show it to the world ever since.”

You can check out WISH I KNEW (Remix) above. It's a look at what Dinje has planned for 2022 and beyond, and we're excited to hear what's next. If there's someone that's constantly running through your mind, then this remix will provide comfort. You're not the only one out there that's feeling that way.
