How much of a good thing is too much?
Let’s just use January as a start point.. Major Lazer stomped through the country and left us in a flustered, sweaty mess after their Big Day Out appearances, side shows and boat rocking Island party on Sydney Harbour..
Just in case you missed the shows – you can catch the vapors off Diplo’s Revolution EP… speaking of vapors though – I’m betting that whatever was gassing up in that funky glowing Vaporizer in the video for the title track would do little to get me off the couch to fight the power.. just saying..
With the ‘Free The Universe’ album still residing in the car CD player as one of the best tenants we’ve had in years - we find out that we’re going to have serve it an eviction notice as ‘Apocalypse Soon’ is upon us and the stacker packed it in years ago.. Aerosol Can is already knocking its way into the Best Tracks of 2014 lists for anyone who has a radio and a working set of ears.. that story has only just begun with heat from RDX and Sean Paul radiating off the track list.
Can’t wait to grab Apocalypse Soon?
No drama – wrap your auditories around the Revolution Remix EP where the track is reborn 4 ways..
I was enjoying a little barely safe for work twerk in Hicksville action, courtesy of the brand new ‘Biggie Bounce’ video that dropped on Monday when, during one of my many look over the shoulder + ALT TAB to flick back to email motions, I copped a link from a friend – OH!Diplo had also thrown his hat into the Beyonce ‘Drunk In Love’ remix ring. When. Does. This. Man. Sleep!?
But..
Still feeling like you could fit a little more Dip in your diet?
Join the queue at the buffet cos, teaming up with Skrillex, they are up in the lab assembling some hybrid badassness which will apparently see the light of day under the ‘Jack U’ moniker in 2014..
All that jumping around and embarrassing yourself with your best twerk attempts got you feeling like you need a break? A little Carribean Cruise maybe?
Don’t sweat it.
Dip’s got you covered – all aboard the Mad Decent Boat Party, setting sail from Miami to Nassau in November.
Diploverdose? Maybe for some but we’re Cool Accidents and we’re a diplo-holic.
