    I’ve made no secret of the fact that I think Dr. John’s most recent effort Locked Down was the best record of 2012 so without blabbering on too much, here’s a little live hit from the Doctor, recorded at the Brooklyn Academy of Music and featuring Dan Auerbach from the Black Keys on geet.

     



    Also, I’ve suddenly realised that Howard Moon’s friend Lester Corncrake (of the Mighty Boosh) must surely be a character based on Dr. John:
