Dua Lipa has covered young star Arlo Parks' track Eugene in the BBC Live Lounge, and she's brought some killer harmonies along for the occasion.
The track comes from Parks' debut album Collapsed In Sunbeams, and Dua's stripped the performance back, removing the drums. Instead, she brought along a trio of backing singers and a guitarist, and it sounds absolutely haunting.
Tweeting about the cover, Parks says she thought that Dua absolutely nailed it. She posted a video of herself listening to the cover, as well as writing, “IM ABSOLUTELY FLOORED!
"Dua, I literally felt like I was levitating listening to you covering Eugene on the @BBCR1 live lounge what a special moment for a quiet, intensely personal tune that was written in a living room! @DUALIPA you are a star – I’m grinning so big rn x."
