Dua Lipa has announced she'll be putting on a very special live-streamed concert, and we can't wait.
The concert, which she's calling Studio 2054, will see her performing “a brand new multi-dimensional live experience” from inside a warehouse. The gig, which will take place on November 27th, will feature tracks from her recent album Future Nostalgia, the remix album Club Future Nostalgia and her self-titled debut album. Honestly, how is Dua going to fit all the hits into one setlist?
She'll be performing on a range of different sets, and will move "through custom-built sets, surreal tv shows, roller discos, ecstatic raves, trashy rocker hangouts, voguing ballrooms and diva style dressing rooms". We are SO there.
She took to Instagram to announce the gig and was even joined by a very special guest - Elton John. She's promised she'll be joined by a range of guests as part of Studio 2054, so maybe Elton will be one of them.
Dua explained the origins of Studio 2054, saying "I got the idea because of lockdown, and everybody's at home and we're all longing for a little bit of human connection that I wanted to bring a performance. But it's actually, in fact, nothing like what you would see me do live because there's no way I would be able to do this in the sense of doing this on stage. We're doing this in a massive warehouse."
During their conversation, Elton praised Dua's recent album Future Nostalgia, saying, “You probably made one of the greatest albums of the year.” Dua's reaction is adorable!

There are two types of tickets available, which go on sale at 8am AEDT Friday (October 30th). You can either get a standard ticket for the gig, or a special ticket that will get you access to behind the scenes footage and an invite to the After Show Party. We know which one we'll be getting.
