You may be familiar with the name Dylan Joel already. It could be because we’ve written a few words about him in the past or perhaps it’s because you’ve heard his jams on Triple J. If you’re already across it then you probably don’t need me to tell you that this kid has something special going on. When have I ever let that stop me though? This kid has something special going on. 

And if you doubt my words, get your ears around his latest offering the That’s Good mixtape, which features what has been a staple of every hip-hop playlist I’ve made this past quarter - track 2, ‘Popular’ complete with a sample from the musical Wicked, it’s nigh on impossible to extricate from your dome. That’s my jam. The record dropped early and is a total winner. Listen to the whole thing through because this dude has a deft touch, a mighty flow and can pick a mean sample. A++
