If E^ST has been anything, it's been relatable. From the existentialism of Life Goes On to the frustration of I Don't Lack Imagination, E^ST has always managed to tap into the experience of growing up like no other and today's release of Talk Deep is no different.
The song is a euphoric, joyful ode to the early days of young love, when caution is thrown to the wind and you end up staying up all night to talk to someone you like, ignoring the fact that you have work at 8am. Oops, been there, done that.
The video is a cute snapshot of this point of a new relationship, with E^ST lounging around with her new beau around the house dying to speak to him, even when he's asleep in bed, in the bathtub and in the pool.
"Talk Deep is about having crazy chemistry with someone and not wanting to miss out on a single second of it... Who needs sleep anyway?" E^ST jokes about the high-energy tune.
The most exciting part is that Talk Deep will be the first cut of E^ST's long-awaited debut album, I'm Doing It, due out next year. We don't know much else about it apart from that it's gonna be damn good if Talk Deep is anything to go by.
