There's some great news on the Australian festival front, with Falls Festival announcing they'll be putting together an all-Australian line-up for their 2020/2021 edition.
Last year's line-up saw the likes of Vampire Weekend, Halsey, Yungblud and more come to Australia - but this time, the stage is set for Australia's best musicians to headline the huge festival.
Australia's doing some great work when it comes to preventing the coronavirus, and festival organisers Jess and Paul say that a home-grown edition will "ensure that money stays in our local economy, providing maximum financial benefit for the Australian music community – artists, management, crew, agents, roadies, production etc - as well as the thousands of contractors and suppliers who rely on our events for their income" - something we can all agree is very important right now.
The festival will also raise funds for Support Act, which provides essential services to music industry workers. The music industry has been hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic, so the festival will help ease the impact felt by the music industry this year.
They'll continue working with health authorities to ensure festivalgoers' safety, so you'll be in good hands come this December/January next year.
Keep your eyes peeled for the line-up later this year - we can't wait to see what surprises lay in store for this year's very special Falls Festival.
