FKA twigs has released her new mixtape CAPRISONGS. It showcases twigs at her freest, giving some of her most versatile work to date. Part of that is an expansion of her collaborator pool. CAPRISONGS sees her recruit the most featured artists of any of her projects and it's thrilling to hear. In celebration, we've put together a list of our favourite twigs collaborations from her recent Weeknd collab to A$AP Rocky features.

Tears In The Club (Feat. The Weeknd)

An early favourite from this year, Tears In The Club showcases twigs and The Weeknd at the peak of their powers. twigs and The Weeknd know their way around a heartache anthem and here they are both devastating and cathartic. Give us these two voices with Arca production any day of the week.

    Jealousy (Feat. Rema)

FKA twigs' new mixtape trips through genres and here she finds herself dipping into Afrobeat with Rema - the Nigerian singer who is blowing up globally. It's a richly melodic, silky collaboration that melds the artists' two styles effortlessly. It's the first time we've heard twigs over a beat like this but we're liking what we're hearing.

Why Don't You Love Me (Feat. Dua Lipa)

When twigs and Lipa teased this collab during her Studio 2054 live stream it basically blew the internet up. So much so that people are still begging for one of the two to release it. We have no idea whether this will even see the light of the day but it doesn't mean we can't keep hitting repeat on clips from the live stream.

Darjeeling (Feat. Jorja Smith and Unknown T)

Darjeeling is one of Caprisongs gentler moments with Jorja Smith and twigs giving heartfelt performances. It's a celestial, hypnotic track that captures the soulfulness of Smith's voice and the oddities of twigs'. Unknown T then comes through and highlights the drill beat which is a thrilling addition.

Ego Death (With Kanye, Skrillex, Ty Dolla $ign)

We love Ego Death as a whole but to be honest there's something particularly spectacular about twigs' verse. It's a short spot at the tail-end of the song but she gets the Jersey club and delivers a psychedelic, mind-bending verse. There are YouTube edits that revolve specifically around this verse because it's so brilliant.

Measure Of A Man (Feat. Central Cee)

Measure Of A Man sees twigs in soundtrack mode getting grandiose for The Kings Man soundtrack. It's a alluring and silken with twigs wrapping her voice around one of her most cinematic beats yet. You wouldn't necessarily imagine a British MC to body this beat but Central Cee rises to the occasion bringing a dense verse that matches the backdrops' darkness.

    Holy Terrain (Feat. Future)

twigs has always been able to dip in and out of the rap world but she's never really offered it up on her own projects until Holy Terrain. It's MAGDALENE's most accessible moment as twigs casts a spell over a stormy beat. We know that Future is skilled at delivering an off-centering, emotional verse but he's particularly special here.

Don't Judge Me (feat. Headie One)

twigs originally appeared on Headie One's GANG project where this song existed as an interlude. Here, it gets a well-deserved extension, heightening the haunting atmosphere of the song. Both twigs and Headie One are arresting here tripping down into the darkness and giving raw performances.

    Fukk Sleep (With A$AP Rocky)

Both twigs and Rocky are highly skilled at hypnotizing in their music and together they give a woozy performance on Fukk Sleep. twigs comes in at the tail-end here as if she's guiding us through an otherworldly experience. Her voice levitates the whole time as she lulls us to sleep.

    Sum About You (With 645AR)

This is admittedly the most polarising choice on the list but we're big fans. 645AR's squeaky delivery was originally interpreted as an internet joke but he's proved himself to be one of the most intriguing artists out. Somehow twigs just clicks with this kind of delivery and hops onto Sum About You like she was born to collaborated with 645AR.
