to listen to his current top 10 fave tunes… So here they are below with a little bit of a breakdown as to why they’re rockin’ Flux’s world at the moment.

    HOLD ON TO YOUR BRITCHES!

Kill The Noise - Black Magic Part 2

I’m a huge fan of Kill The Noise. The musicality of this track gets me every time, the chords and the flow is absolutely incredible, I take my hat off to him, KTN for me has created something really special with this track. It’s proof that inspired composition has a place within dance music.

    Dillon Francis - Bootleg Fireworks

The amount of groove Dillon Francis can get out of a synth to me is incredible. this track is essentially just one sound playing one note, but it’s so expertly crafted that the groove on it is phenomenal. Major fan of Dillon Francis here. Been Playing this in my sets since we toured together, I would even play it after he had already played it because I love it so much.

Flux Pavilion Feat. Childish Gambino - Do or Die

I know it’s a bit weird choosing my own track, but if I didn’t like it I wouldn’t make it! this choice for me is more to show my love for Childish Gambino. I have loved his style since i first heard it and I’m so excited by what he did with this record. I love to listen to it! This track is probably my favourite to play right now.

Doctor P - Flying Spaghetti Monster

This track can’t really be described you just have to listen to it. Doctor P is an incredibly talented producer and I’m constantly looking up to his work. Groove is important to me when I write or play a track and I know Doctor P has the same approach. It’s impossible not to move to his music.

Brown & Gammon - Disco Music

This is a BIG record in my sets. Signed to my Label with Doctor P, Circus Records. This guy is a continuing source of surprise and experimentation with sound. What i love about BnG is that its different, I spend a lot of time listening to dance music but when i hear his tracks I always feel refreshed.

    TNGHT - Higher Ground

Well it seems the whole world has gone crazy for trap, including myself. I have no idea what this track could/should be categorised as, but to me it embodies what I’m loving about the new wave of trap stuff. Attitude and groove. First heard it getting dropped about 5 times in one night, loved it ever since.

    Sander Van Doorn - Joyenergizer

I’ve only recently fallen in love with music like this, It needs something special to make it into my play out list, and this record has that something special. I love music that can capture energy using very simple and minimal ideas, it’s a surprisingly hard thing to achieve and impresses me when I hear it done right.

Helicopter Showdown - Can u Feel Me (Antiserum remix)

Antiserum is probably my favourite producer who is working with the Trap Sound right now. This track can be dropped anywhere at any time and always sounds amazing. Its just got that groove that makes me move what more can I say! I’m expecting a lot from this guy in 2013.

    Skism - Experts

Skism is the king of the Tempo shift. He is probably one of the best DJs I’ve had the good fortune to watch perform. You can really hear in his music that he knows what to do with energy and where it can be placed. He is one of those producers that makes it sound effortless with his production but there is so much going on, this track is no exception.

    Roksonix - Dogfight

Roksonix have got dancefloor down to a Tee. Everything from their hooks and synthesis to their production makes this track a guaranteed play out tune. I don’t think I’ve ever played a Roksonix track and it not gone down well. Proud to have them on Circus and lucky to have all their tracks in the bag before they get releases. Awesome.
