Andrei Eremin (x Nearly Oratorio) – Two Dones

Eremin has mixed and mastered errything from Chet Faker to Hiatus Kaiyote these past couple of years so its no surprise that when he turns his attention to production duties he gets it all too right. The double bass sections in this track are particularly tasty, dwelling comfortably around Simon Lam’s (I’lls, Klo) clever vocals.

Sampa The Great – Class Trip

The most engaging hip-hop to come out of our fair land this year, Sampa recently dropped a heck of a mixtape and this is one of the more choice cuts from its ranks.

    AIYA – Go

Only the second track from this new pairing of Melbourne women, Go is every bit as good as their first single, all restraint and subtlety, a gorgeous voice filtering through clipped and chopped production.

Benson ft. Thomas Crawford - Hollow

Unusually for a track in this world, the vocals on this badboy don’t seem to matter in the slightest. The melody there is a bag of whatever but within the beat is a really nice bunch of driving rhythms and sounds that have me vibed.

Tiny Little Houses – Soon We Won’t Exist

While not as strong as Every Man Knows His Plague or Easy this one reaffirms that grunge tinted indie rock songwriting that they’ve demonstrated themselves to be fairly good at.
