Gordi has paid tribute to Chester Bennington of Linkin Park who passed away in July by covering In The End for triple j's 'Like A Version'.

The Aussie muso, who released her debut album Reservoir, explained why the band's record Hybrid Theory was so important before she launched into the performance.

“Hybrid Theory was the first record I bought with my own money, and ‘In The End’ was the first song I remember connecting to,” she said.

“It’s such a beautiful song and it’s such a tragedy about Chester… he gave the world such a gift, especially for that album.”

She also delivered an excellent rendition of her own song On My Side.
