Halsey has announced her fourth studio album titled If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power.
The album was announced via a Billboard which kept details to a minimum. It did reveal, however, that the record is produced by Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.
As a pair, Reznor and Ross are best known for their work on scores for films like Gone Girl and Bird Box. Outside of a production credit on Lil Nas X's Old Town Road, Reznor hasn't dipped his toes into the pop world before.
We have a short snippet but apart from that we have no idea what this album is going to sound like. Of course, Halsey has always flirted with the rock world. On her last record, she delivered several punk rock-infused moments while rock single Nightmare has become a fan favourite.
If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power comes just over a year after the release of her third album Manic. She's currently awaiting the birth of her first child. We'll have to wait and see whether it lines up with the birth of her fourth album.
