Brisbane electronic-pop newcomer Hartley has gone from strength to strength in 2019, from dropping her first song Used To to dropping empowering songs like Mind and Own.
We've quickly seen the young star-in-the-making carve out a niche for herself melding electronic, drum'n'bass and pop with ethereal vocals and now she's dropped the last piece of the puzzle - a single called How It Feels which completes her first self-titled EP.

The 23-year-old told us in a feature interview last year that she's super inspired by "female vocalists who were doing something different".
"BANKS comes to mind, because she was so fearless in the way she was dark and honest. I don’t think that was a very “female” thing to be at the time she started making music. Same with Ellie Goulding. She had this angelic nature about her, with a smoky voice, that no one else was doing either and the style of her albums were really different too," she explained.
We absolutely think Hartley's joining the same team of women who refuse to adhere to genre stereotypes, so we're so excited for what 2020 has in store for this young talent, full of infectious energy.
