After nearly a year of laying low, Paramore's enigmatic singer Hayley Williams has lent her voice to Illinois rockers American Football's brand new single, Uncomfortably Numb.
The song is a spiralling, heartfelt track that American Football singer Mike Kinsella and Hayley both duet over beautifully, with a haunting music video set in an ambulance. It also features Workaholics' Blake Anderson and Samhain drummer London May.
It's the first time we've heard Hayley's voice on anything since Paramore's last record, After Laughter, with Hayley stating on Instagram in November 2018 that she would be taking an extended break from social media and focusing on her side hustle hair dye brand, Good Dye Young.
She did assure fans she wasn't stepping away from music for good though, just making things "for no one else to hear".
American Football meanwhile are gearing up to drop their third studio album this March.
