Californian rapper/poet Hobo Johnson came to prominence with his song Peach Scone, a spoken-word/hip hop/emo mishmash of stream of consciousness thoughts and existential thoughts, screamed in a way that makes you feel like you're at an emo or punk gig.
He's just been spotlighted as MTV's Get To Know and collected over 13 million views for a Peach Scone contest video he and The Lovemakers shot for NPR, so it's clear the song resonated with a bunch of people around the world.
We sat Hobo down to explain the inspiration and story behind the song, plus he has some great last words of wisdom for ya.
