    Holiday Party

Brisbane indie darlings Holiday Party have come out of hibernation and returned with their first taste of new music since last year, a euphoric little indie pop jam called No One that arrives with a music video you may not expect.

Inspired by the band's own press photo shot by Jeff Andersen Jr, where the duo have extra arms for some reason, Jeff took that idea and ran with it for the music video. It starts off unassumingly enough at a photoshoot, only for things to get a bit satanic.

All the while, the song is delicate, airy and catchy-as-all-hell - you'll be humming the chorus for hours.

Holiday Party said of the video, "Naturally, things got weird shooting at 3am in a freezing Melbourne warehouse — Jeff was battling the flu and all of us were delirious. Regardless, it was genuinely such a great process to go through, and we’re grateful to Jeff for lending us his creative brain."

“We'd been listening to Madonna's Like A Prayer a lot, and getting really inspired by some young singers we'd met through songwriting days and generally around Brisbane. We combined them into a super choir and once we added their voices it felt like No One was complete."

Here's the press photo that started it all.
