    It's a bit of a running joke that The Wombats are honorary Aussies, given their track record for visiting Australia often multiple times a year.

    They were just here for Splendour In The Grass and a handful of headline shows, and they'll soon be back for Spilt Milk and Grape Vine Festivals this November, plus more headline shows to support their latest, Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life.

    While they were in town recently, we stopped by to chat with them about all things festivals - why they keep coming back, their favourite Splendour In The Grass memory and what they like to get up to while they're in town.

    And kudos if you can pick out the fake bands they name. 

    The guys have three new songs coming out soon on a deluxe version of Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life.
