Up-and-coming Aussie act JXN (pronounced Jackson, it's the moniker of Jackson Brazier) has just dropped his second ever single, Red Lights, and like he teased last week, it's with a global star. None other than Bronx rapper A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie features on it and it's a BIG. MOOD.
Packing a breezy late-night vibe, it's like the song you'd wanna listen to when you're a little tipsy, driving around the city and lovin' life with your mates.
"It’s about mates hanging out," JXN says. "The ‘red light’ is any negative energy or negativity; it’s about using that as motivation to succeed.”

Written at 3am one night, JXN connected with A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie when the rapper was in Australia for Laneway this past February.
A Boogie explained, "I just went to Australia for the first time on tour and while I was out there, someone told me about this artist named JXN. I looked him up, watched a couple of his videos and they were fire. I later found out we were on the same label, so I told them to set it up; we had to do something together.”
"I’m pretty stoked to have A Boogie on the song. His verse fits perfectly, and I love his work, so I’m feeling happy about it," JXN added.
Meanwhile, A Boogie's just released a video with GQ about his 10 essentials in life (like his favourite cookie and favourite backpack!) - check it out here.
All in all, Red Lights is another stellar notch on JXN's relatively short music career so far - but if this is what he's coming up with so early on, we can't bloody wait to see where he goes in 5 years.
