JXN (also known to his many fans as Jackson Brazier) recently released his stunning debut track, Solitude, and we were super impressed by its haunting nature and stark minimalism.
Now, he's released the music video to match and he's gone above and beyond - it's romantic yet heartbreaking; dark yet sultry; understated yet highly stylised.
Directed by Josh Harris and shot overnight in a house in Victoria, the crew used a water rigging system to create all the rain inside the house, and we gotta say, we love the dappled effect it creates on both JXN and actor Kate Moore's faces.
The metaphor of sitting in a room filling with water with your troubled lover also creates some beautiful imagery.
Of the song, JXN says, "I think this song is a good song to come out with. It’s a breakup song and pretty much everyone has been through what that song says. It’s a bedroom song or it’s a rainy day car song. Looking out the window with the rain, headphones on."
If you're not across JXN yet, we interviewed him earlier this year and are super keen for what 2019 is gonna bring him.
