Kanye West finally released DONDA at the tail-end of last weekend after a year of teasing but now he's already talking about new music.
He hopped a plane from Chicago to Berlin after the DONDA listening party last week and was interviewed by German publication Blid.
During the interview - an extremely rare one, we should add - he played a snippet of a new song featuring Andre 3000, one name that doesn't feature on Donda.
“I produce music in my thoughts, no matter where I am," he said before playing the snippet.
He revealed that he's in the country to meet with architects as part of a project to help rebuild his hometown of Chicago.
“I’m not staying [in Germany] for long,” he said. “We will work on the school and then on new music. … God put me on this earth to make music."
We'll see how long we have to wait or whether we'll ever get the collaboration at all. For now, we have 1 hour and 40 minutes of new music to sit with.
And it seems plenty of people have. It's smashing streaming records this week, including the most first-day streams in the US on Apple Music.
