Kid Cudi hasn't hid the fact he's a fan of psychedelic drug DMT, and he's told Lil Wayne it helped him to experience the afterlife. He's previously spoken about his experiences using DMT on social media, and he's expanded on his thoughts during a recent interview.

Speaking to Lil Wayne on Young Money Radio, he says it helped him experience "dying", and he's seen what's waiting for him on the other side. “I’ve done DMT a couple times and they say DMT is the experience of dying or the feeling that you get when you’re born before you’re born. So it kinda tapped me into another place.

"It let me know that there’s something beyond. I always felt in my heart that there was something beyond." He also gave some further details about the afterlife, saying it's a "peaceful place" and it smells like "cotton candy". Sounds pretty good to us.

Cudi's been busy in 2020, releasing a collaboration with Eminem called Adventures Of Moon Man And Slim Shady, which was received well by the hip-hop community.

He's also set to release an animated series with Kanye West and Takashi Murakami, a podcast, and feature in the series We Are Who We Are. Cudi isn't letting the events of 2020 stop him, and it sounds like he's been inspired by a spiritual journey or two.
