Lana Del Rey has unveiled the album cover for her new album, Blue Banisters, and the Internet has some questions.
Album out July 4th

The album, which is set to be released on July 4th, features a cover that's made up of a selfie that Lana posted in August 2020, as well as a sepia-toned filter and a white frame that seems out of place.
Fans immediately started joking that the cover had been made on PicsArt, an app that's great if you're looking to edit your photos, but not so great for making album covers.
There's now a petition on change.org to "ban Lana from PicsArt", and it's already been signed by over 3,000 people. The bio for the petition reads, "Lana had terrorized just way too long with these edits, we need to stop her. Sign this for a future of quality album covers from Lana again."
It's not the only instance of fans poking fun at Lana, with @ipraytojesustoo making a Twitter thread of what it'd look like if Lana made album covers for other artists.
