Lana Del Rey has announced that she's writing a book of poetry which is going to be released this year.

She dropped pages from it on her Instagram page this week and revealed that it's called Violent Bent Backwards Over The Grass.

On Instagram, she told fans that she will be selling the book for just $1. Her reasoning? "Because my thoughts are priceless.”

That's not even the best part. Lana, one of the biggest names in music right now, has told her fans that she will be personally driving the books to local Californian book stores herself. Yep, she will be doing her own distribution.

Hey! So I’m like super excited about self publishing my first poetry book. And I just wanted to say any mom-and-pop SoCal/ San Fran book stores that are interested in having it just let me know and I’ll drive you out a couple boxes when I’m done binding it in a few months xx
