66Records member Lil Jaye has just dropped his latest single, Blessings, and it lives up to the name - it's a treat for your ears. The piano-driven track sees Jaye invoke the melodies associated with Atlanta trap music, and shows off his ability to write a melody that'll get stuck in your head.
It's the first new solo music we've heard from Lil Jaye since last year's Choppa Make Her Dance, which hit the top 30 of Australia's Spotify Viral 50, and turned a lot of heads.

Speaking about Blessings, Lil Jaye says, “This song is a vision, it is how I felt about what was going on in my life and where I wanted it to go. The song is also a motivational song for anybody that would be going through the same thing. I wanted to give out a positive message out there for any creative to not give up. When I heard the beat I knew it was a hit and I knew exactly how to make it come out like that.”
Lil Jaye and 66Records have been busy, dropping Devil Persona last week, a track that showcased Lil Jaye, as well as fellow 66Records members BBG Smokey, Eco$ystem and BabyT. It has a raw sound, and demonstrates what each member brings to the table.
