Lil Nas X has appeared on the latest episode of the iconic US TV show Maury, and he's got some serious relationship problems to get off his chest. This is one dramatic love triangle, and it quickly gets out of hand. No wonder host Maury Povich calls it "one of the most scandalous stories" that's ever been on the show.

Speaking with Maury, Lil Nas (who goes by his name Montero on the show) explains that the problems began after the film clip for That's What I Want, which features the artist falling in love with a football teammate.

Unfortunately, he discovered his teammate, whose name is Yai, was hiding a family from him. Yai has a wife, named Ashley, as well as a child. Lil Nas went on Maury to tell Ashley about his love for Yai, and to get it all out in the open.

The video is yet another example of Lil Nas's acting ability, as well as his sense of humour. The segment is hilarious, and it even features a lie detector test. This truly has it all.

The segment ended with a disclaimer that it was for "entertainment purposes" only, but given the level of acting on display, we reckon that you could have had us fooled for a second there (OK, not really, but it's absolutely hilarious).

You can watch the full segment below to find out what happens in the end - we're pretty sure that you won't be able to pick it. The twists and turns throughout this segment are full on, and Lil Nas has truly embraced the chaos with this one.
