Lil Nas X is teaming up with streetwear company MSCHF to release Satan Shoes, aka customised Nike Air Max '97s. It's a limited edition drop, with only 666 pairs available, and they'll set you back a hefty $1,018 USD if you're interested.
The Satan Shoes tie in with the theme of his steamy new music video for Montero (Call Me By Your Name), which involves Nas giving the devil a lap dance. It's a bit of a switch-up from Old Town Road, to say the least.

Nike's not involved with the release of the custom shoes, which is probably just as well, considering there's a drop of human blood in the sole of each pair. The blood has been taken from members of the MSCHF team.
Nike said in a statement, "We do not have a relationship with Little Nas X or MSCHF. Nike did not design or release these shoes and we do not endorse them." They also pointed out that they were custom adaptations of existing shoes.
Lil Nas X has seen some backlash for the release, but he's sticking to his guns, tweeting, "y’all gotta admit... the shoes hard! u cannot sit here and lie". Honestly, it's hard to disagree. The blood might be a bit much though...

Check out the video for Montero below. The price refers to Luke 10:18, a Bible verse about Satan's fall from heaven. Nas is definitely feeling devilish at the moment, and he's going all-in with the Satanic theme - which the Church of Satan is vibing HARD.
