    Lorde's 'Green Light' Was Inspired In Part By Arcade Fire And Now They've Covered It

    Arcade Fire have delivered a hearty cover of Lorde's Green Light and Lorde herself loves it.

    The Canadian band covered it for Radio 1's Live Lounge and it actually sounds like it could've been an Arcade Fire song all along.

    And there's a good reason for that.

    Lorde tweeted after hearing that she had, "a big dumb grin on watching my favourite band sing my song."

    She then tweeted, "when we were recording G.L. there was this harmony part and jack said "just do it like win butler" and i immediately did lol."

    She's going to try and find the exact recording of it but for the moment bask in the joy that is Arcade Fire covering Green Light.
