Circles was first released on January 17th of this year, and was completed by Mac's producer Jon Brion. Brion finished the project following Mac's passing.
When Mac's family first announced the album, they said, "Two different styles complementing each other, complementing a circle -- Swimming in Circles was the concept. This is a complicated process that has no right answer. No clear path. We simply know that it was important to Malcolm for the world to hear it."
