Maribelle is back with her first drop of 2018 I'm A Mess Without You and it's well worth the wait.
The song is a bonafide bop and comes after her excellent EP Overtake which she dropped way back in 2016.
“This song is very personal for me. It’s about me reflecting on being confused about having feelings for a girl for the first time,” she says about the song.
“I was hiding my feelings for somebody, and hurting them because I wasn't being honest with myself. It’s actually about my current girlfriend and the early stages of our relationship. I was out in the club one night and had a 'Days Of Our Lives' montage of all of our memories together, and just realised what a mess I was being.”
It's a total smash and one of the best things she's ever given us, sounding like she's been studying the Swedish pop masters while soaking up plenty of Dua Lipa too.
