    Marina & The Diamonds has finally given an update on her long-awaited fourth album.

    The British singer said that she wasn't sure whether she was ever going to do music again but after a break the writing flood gates opened again.

    "[It's progressing] really really well...I took a break and then I have been writing ever since," she said in an interview with Abbey Road Studios.

    "I've kind of been writing more than I ever have before, which is unexpected because I thought that I was not going to do this anymore, for a while."

    As for when we're going to get new music, she wrote an update on social media that says she see us again in Autumn which will presumably be Spring in Australia.

    It's been three years since she released her last album Froot.
