Mason Dane's known for his crazy work ethic, and we wanted to put that to the test. We challenged Mason and his long-time collaborator/producer Liam Thomas to create a track in just 30 minutes while we documented the process. 

Our editor, Uppy Chatterjee, was on deck to talk to the duo about their creative process. It's an insight into how the pair are able to bounce off each other to create a range of different sounds, like the vulnerable pop that features on Mason's recent EP Chasing Home.

The pair make the most of the half-hour, with Mason nailing the hook in one take. Liam mentions Mason's speed when talking about their collaborative process, explaining that they're both willing to work with left-field sounds in order to create the best music possible.
